Job fair held to fill 75 manufacturing jobs, transportation provided to workers

FLINT, Mich. – Hundreds of people lined up to apply for 75 open jobs Tuesday in Flint. 200 of them lined up an hour before the doors even opened. CNC Jobs is the name of the company and get this, they plan on providing transportation for their workers. The manufacturing company would deploy buses out into the community which would pick up and take workers to the job site.

CNC Jobs put out the urgent notice. It says the positions are at a Tier I Defense manufacturing facility. The openings have a minimum starting wage of $12.00 and up and include several talent levels. The job fair will be held Tuesday afternoon. It's from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Dort Federal Event Center on Lapeer Road in Flint.

The company will offer free transportation from Flint to the job site in Lapeer County.
