Job fair held to fill 75 manufacturing jobs, transportation provided to workers

FLINT, Mich. – Hundreds of people lined up to apply for 75 open jobs Tuesday in Flint. 200 of them lined up an hour before the doors even opened. CNC Jobs is the name of the company and get this, they plan on providing transportation for their workers. The manufacturing company would deploy busses out into the community which would pick up and take workers to the job site.

"We will have one point in Flint to pick up everybody, a point where they can get to by bus eventually, they don’t need a vehicle they will get to that point we will take them to the job site drop them off at the end of the shift we pick them up bring them home all three shifts so the bus will be running back and forth," said CNC CEO Robert Lawson.

Seventy-five jobs are opening now but the owner of the company says more jobs could be opening up in the near future.
